We went to the Kit Carson Restaurant on June 12, 2009 and it was one of the WORST restaurants I have ever seen. My wife and I were served a piece of pie that was by appearance just plain old. If that was not bad enough, the pie tasted very odd. It was suppose to be chocolate, but tasted as if the chocolate used was unsweetened. I've tasted unsweetened many times and that tasted just like that. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she said they made their pies in house, while another waitress mentioned that they had had one complaint about the pies from another customer. So why didn't they do something then? They gave us very big pieces of the pie, as if attempting to rid themselves of it. I feel they knew what they were doing and didn't care. Then there was the salad-bar which was a real prize winner. It was in a hall-way unattended, out of sight and on the way to the bathrooms. This place is a real class act!
